ACCCIS confident Abg Zohari will continue moderation

 

The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sarawak (ACCCIS) extends heartiest congratulations to YAB Datuk Amar Abang Zohari on his appointment as the sixth Chief Minister of Sarawak on 13th January, 2017.

 

YAB Datuk Amar Abang Zohari is a veteran politician who has been involving in politics for more than 35 years.  In the past, he had served as a state cabinet minister under various portfolios, and he maintains the good relationship with various communities, such as business, education, social and so forth irrespective of races and religious. He is an approachable, capable and open-minded statesman.

 

ACCCIS believes under his leadership the cabinet will continue the advocacy of moderation and able to transform Sarawak to greater heights in terms of development.

 

ACCCIS wholeheartedly support the new administration to be led by YAB Datuk Amar Abang Zohari and looking forward to Sarawak continuing prosper, unity as well as to strive for higher petroleum royalty, reclaim Sarawak’s right as stated in the establishment of Malaysia Agreement 1963, exercise the state’s immigration power, demand for more federal funds to develop our poor infrastructures, such as roads, bridges, wharves, facilities for education and hospital and many more from the Federal Government to ensure the development of Sarawak is on par with other State in Peninsular Malaysia.
