Visit by Delegation of The Malaysian Chamber of Commerce Hong Kong and Macau

A 19-member delegation led by Dato’ Gan Khai Choon, Chairman of Maycham HK & Macau paid a courtesy call on ACCCIS on 25th October 2019. The delegation was received by Deputy President Dato Tan Jit Kee at ACCCIS Boon Ping Hall.

Also present were Secretary-General Mr. Lee Khim Sin, Council Member Dr. Christopher Ngui, KCGCCI Deputy Chairman for Commerce Committee Mr. Ong Ngok Shoon, KCGCCI Deputy Chairman for Agriculture Committee Mr. Wong Diong Chai, KCGCCI Chairman for Human Resources Development Committee Mr. Tay Yu Siang, KCGCCI Committee Member Mr. Tsai Kian Shin, Kapitan Bong Kim Chiew, KCGCCI YEC Committee Member Mr. Wong Joo Hua and Mr. Jacky Ngo Lee Siong.

Dato Tan shared a brief background of Sarawak and its current development to the guests who mostly come from overseas.

Dato Gan Khai Choon, speaking on behalf of the delegation, said the association was formed about five years ago, and today has about 400 members.

“This was our first visit here, and hopefully, we can gain some knowledge about what Kuching has to offer so that we will be able to promote them in China,” he added.

Among cities they have visited in the country were Penang, Ipoh, Kuala Lumpur, Malacca, Kota Kinabalu and Sibu.“The objective of our visit is to make friends and to look for business and investment opportunities,” he added.
