Courtesy visit to Director of Economic Planning Unit, Sarawak

 

Dato Tan Jit Kee, the President of The Associated Chinese Chambers of Commerce and Industry of Sarawak (ACCCIS) led a group of delegates from ACCCIS and Kuching Chinese General Chamber of Commerce & Industry (KCGCCI) paid a courtesy visit to the director of Economic Planning Unit Sarawak Mr. Lester Matthew on 17 February 2023.

 

Among the topics discussed were PCDS 2030 areas of opportunities for private sectors, engage private sector in public sector committees, outcome of outstanding applications for subsidies to SMEs and micro enterprises under BKSS 7.0 and 7.0 plus, sharing of data and information from government departments and statutory agencies, waste management system on tyres and oil palm, labour shortages issue, invite EPU to visit ACCCIS and conduct forum / presentation to ACCCIS members as well as conduct a regular dialogue with EPU.

 

Also present in the meeting were Secretary-General Dato Jonathan Chai Voon Tok, Chairman of Digital Economy Committee Mr. Rodger Chan Siong Boh, KCGCCI Vice President Mr. Dennis Chin Ching Chung, KCGCCI Chairman of Industry Committee Dr. Richard Tan Yoke Seng, Chairman of Young Entrepreneurs Committee Mr. Chai Min Liong and Secretary of Young Entrepreneurs Committee Mr. Tan Chen Sin.
