1 Malaysia Training Scheme Open Interview Sarawak State 2016
The Economic Planning Unit and the Sarawak State Government through Workforce Development Unit, Chief Minister’s Department, will be jointly organizing the “1 Malaysia Training Scheme” Sarawak State 2016. The particulars of the event are as follows:-

Time: 9.00am – 5.00pm
Venue: Borneo Convention Centre Kuching (BCCK)
The main objective of 1MTS is to enhance the employability of unemployed graduates by placing them for 6-12 months with partner companies so that they can acquire valuable workplace experience and strengthen their competencies and soft skills through on-the-job learning. The graduates will be paid an allowance of RM1000 per month and will also given training in soft skills during attachment. The partner companies can either claim the allowance paid and the training expenses from HRDF fund or claim double tax deduction from their tax obligations.
Apart from helping the unemployed graduates, this initiative will also assist participating companies as the extra manpower will help the companies in maintaining or increasing their productivity while the cost of the manpower can be reclaimed from HRDF or offset through reduced tax expenses.
In addition to participating in 1MTS, companies can also participate in the fair to undertake recruitment to fill all types of vacancies and thereby save on their recruitment costs. Participation is by taking up a booth to display the company’s products and services as well as the job vacancies available. Participation is free of charge. Extensive promotion will be done before the fair as well as various activities will be held during the fair to attract visitors.
